CFHS Club Fair

Posted Date: 9/26/25 (6:00 PM)

Last Friday, the CFHS plaza was abuzz with excitement and the sound of steel drums as students explored dozens of clubs and discovered new ways to connect with campus life. CFHS clubs fall into three main categories: JTED/CTE-sponsored clubs, school-sponsored clubs, and student-driven clubs.  Student-driven clubs can change every year based on the interests of our students, while our other clubs are ongoing. From career pathways to creative passions, there was something for everyone!

Student-Driven Clubs
From finance to fine arts, student-driven clubs cover a wide variety of interests, and the Club Fair boards proved it. Students could sign up for Chamber Music Club, try their hand at markets with the Investment Club, care for animals with the Vet Club, or celebrate culture and friendship in the Asian American Club. Outdoorsy and service-minded Falcons gravitated to the Environmental Science Club (gardening and volunteer projects), while well-being advocates found a home in the Mental Wellness ClubAdd in Board Game Budsters, Manga Club, March For Our Lives, and many more... It’s clear: CFHS’s club scene is diverse, inclusive, and a great way to make friends, develop skills, and get involved.

Shout-out to Falcon Steel!
Dr. Tina Walton and our incredible Steel Drum band turned the club fair into a mini island festival with syncopated grooves, bright melodies, and a steel-pan twist on everyone’s favorite tunes. The energy was contagious, and the beat was irresistible. Thank you, Falcon Steel!

What’s next?
  • Students who signed up will hear from club leaders with meeting days/times.
  • Missed the fair? Stop by the house 2 front desk or talk to Ms. Miller, Assistant Principal, for more information about clubs.
Here’s to a year of teamwork, leadership, and trying something new. Go Falcons!
